Our Story

Welcome to Cute Buttons Gift and Paper Boutique. We are a local, pretty paper studio that specializes in custom wedding and party invitations, social stationery & holiday cards.

Our customers often ask us - "Where did the name come from?" In September 2008, I opened our brick-and-mortar shop in downtown Cary, NC with my desire to sell retail products, greeting cards and custom paper that made our customers smile - items that were truly "cute as a button". The name just fit. 

It's a phrase that perfectly captures the essence of our brand and inspires everything we do, and we're proud to have it part of our name. 

Fast forward to December 2020. We transitioned from a charming brick-and-mortar retail shop to a cozy, creative paper studio in north Raleigh, NC, where we've been ever since.

Our customers value kindness + helping others, living well, pretty paper, and giving great gifts. We have helped celebrate birthdays, births, anniversaries, graduations, special occasions, and even the best of ordinary days. AND, we have helped countless couples with their wedding paper. We are eternally grateful for their support.
