As the 2025 wedding season is quickly approaching, we wanted to share three quick timelines you may want to consider when choosing your wedding paper trousseau.
Here we go:
When Do I Mail My Save the Dates?:
We recommend mailing save the dates 6 to 9 months in advance of your Big Day. Nine months to a year is especially ideal for destination and international weddings.
When Do I Order My Wedding Invitations?:
We encourage you to order your wedding invitation suite 6 months before your wedding. This will give you plenty of time to go through the proofing process with no rush fees and account for vendor and/or shipping delays.
Also, it will allow your calligrapher - if you have one - time to address your envelopes.
When Do I Mail My Wedding Invitations?:
Your guests will appreciate receiving an invitation 2 to 3 months before the wedding. If you don't order save the dates, we recommend adding another month or two to your mailing timeline.

No matter which stationer you work with (though we hope it's us), make sure you get a digital proof to review and approve before your order goes into production.
